Elev8 Baltimore out of school time programs create opportunities for children, youth and young adults to improve academic achievement, connect with friends while participating in enrichments led by local teaching artists and instructors.

Afterschool

Elev8 provides a comprehensive afterschool program for students in 2nd-8th grade.  Students receive a nutritious meals (snack and supper), academic enrichment activities and explore athletic, arts, social and cultural enrichments.  Our afterschool program is an evidence-based program proven to improve students’ social and emotional and academic learning.  Students also earn on average 10 hours of service learning credits each year.

Summer

Elev8 Freedom Schools is a literacy-focused six-week summer experience that focuses on culturally diverse literature that highlights local Baltimore artists, authors, the Black, brown and indigenous experience in America while reinforcing college and career readiness standards.  This youth-focused program has been designed to include youth voice and choice within all aspects of the program and curriculum’s design.  This unique experience is available for students in grade k-12. Older Youth Extended Learning

The Elev8 Achievement Academy is a career and academic acceleration program that is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of high school students in non-traditional learning environments and dis-connected youth 16-20 years old.  The program focuses on supporting students academic goals while ensuring they are career-ready through hands-on learning and internship opportunities.
